Joyce - Office Manager/Insurance Coordinator
In addition to assisting with treatment plans, insurance, and payment arrangements, she helps the office to run smoothly. As Dr. Bullock’s wife, Joyce has been an integral part of this practice for more than 20 years and has built some very strong relationships with our patients. She also does an amazing job of decorating our office for all the seasons, something that patients are quick to notice.
Nanci - Office Manager/ Insurance Coordinator
Nanci wears many hats and is an invaluable member of our team. She bills insurance on behalf of our patients and helps to troubleshoot any insurance related issues. She is also very good at explaining recommended treatment to patients and establishing monthly payment arrangements. Nanci grew up in Eugene attending both Lane Community College and Portland Community College and has been with us for 8 years.
Nina – Insurance Coordinator
Nina has been working in the dental field for 30 years! We are very fortunate to have her as a member of our front office. Nina loves interacting with our patients both on the phone and in person. She helps to explain estimated insurance coverage, out-of-pocket expense, and assists patients with scheduling appointments. Nina grew up in Oregon and attended both Lane Community College and Oregon Health and Sciences University.
Mark - Registered Dental Hygienist
Mark has been with us for 26 years! Originally from Illinois, he attended the University of Oregon and received his Dental Hygiene degree from Lane Community College. As a gentle and caring hygienist, he values getting know and understand his patient’s dental needs. Over the years, he has formed deep bonds with many patients and, in some cases, has provided treatment for three generations of families. On the weekends, he is an avid hiker and a very good photographer.
Karen - Registered Dental Hygienist
Karen has been with us for 10 years! Growing up in Harrisburg, she attended Lane Community College and received her Bachelor of Science in Dental Hygiene degree from Oregon Health and Sciences University. She has a constantly positive attitude and is committed to forming personal relationships with our patients. Her gentle touch enables our patients to receive the best possible care. She also enjoys spending time with her husband Randy and sons Brian and Grant, who are very involved in Harrisburg athletic activities.
Rachel – Registered Dental Hygienist
Growing up in Dexter, Rachel attended Eastern Oregon University and went to hygiene school at Lane Community College. Outside the office, she maintains a busy schedule that includes raising chickens and bees, hiking, camping, hunting, writing, gardening and spending time with family. She has the great ability to relate to patients and provide education about their dental health in a way that isn’t condescending. This caring approach results in patients feeling like she is a trusted partner in their dental treatment.
Mitzi – Expanded Functions Dental Assistant
Mitzi has worked in the dental field for over 30 years! We are very fortunate to have someone with her level of experience. More importantly, she has a soft and warm demeanor that patients are quick to notice, as she genuinely takes an interest in the lives of others. She grew up in Mapleton and enjoys hiking, biking and gardening with her husband, Scott.
Chris - Expanded Functions Dental Assistant
Originally from Georgia, Chris has lived in Oregon for 18 years and attended Lane Community College. She has a compassionate and caring manner that is very comforting to our patients. Forming long-term relationships with patients is especially important to her and she enjoys the opportunity to work closely with people on a daily basis. Her interests include watching Oregon Ducks football and playing with her two pomeranians.
Katie - Dental Assistant/Sterilization
Katie is responsible for many of the “behind-the-scenes” duties that help our practice run efficiently. In addition to being in charge of all sterilization; she also orders supplies, pours our stone models, and helps the hygienist with their periodontal charting. Her warm and caring personality instantly makes people feel comfortable in the office. She attended both Lane and Portland Community Colleges and has three lovely daughters.
